Seki Cave Hotel, Wake Up To Hot Air Balloons - Göreme

Boutique cave hotel in Göreme with front-row views of hot air balloons at sunrise

Cave Accommodations with Mountain Views

Seki Cave Hotel offers spacious cave-style suites carved into the rock of Çavuşin, each with a private terrace overlooking the Cappadocian valleys. Suites like the King Suite with Spa Bath and the Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath include in-room jetted tubs, fireplaces, and separate living areas. The Superior Double or Twin Room with Mountain View provides direct balcony access for watching the balloons float overhead every morning.

Breakfast Spread and Homemade Local Cuisine

Daily breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM in a rooftop dining room with panoramic valley views, offering a buffet of fresh fruits, cheeses, olives, breads, and homemade pastries. Guests can order hot dishes such as the gold Turkish skillet-baked eggs with tomatoes and peppers, made to order by the kitchen staff. The breakfast menu includes continental, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options, along with fresh juices and Turkish tea.

Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Viewing and Rooftop Jacuzzi

Every morning from the hotel's rooftop terrace, guests watch hundreds of hot air balloons drift directly above the property, with the balloons passing close enough for photos. The rooftop also has a jacuzzi that can be booked for private use during sunrise or sunset, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding valleys and rock formations. Guests can walk from the hotel to nearby hiking trails and rock caves in Çavuşin for exploration after the balloons land.

Pet-Friendly Grounds with On-Site Animals

Seki Cave Hotel welcomes pets on its premises, and the property is home to several resident animals including a dog named Masal and friendly cats that roam the gardens. Guests can enjoy the outdoor fireplace, BBQ facilities, and shared lounge area with the animals, adding a homely touch to the cave accommodation. The garden and terrace provide quiet spaces for guests traveling with their own pets to relax outdoors.
